1,300-plus hours of hands-on culinary training in the kitchens and bakeshops—This is an extraordinary amount of hands-on learning, and it's critical for you to develop skills and learn culinary techniques. You get all this valuable experience right on our famous campus.
18-week externship—Extend your culinary training off-campus at one of more than 1,100 CIA-approved restaurants, hotels, or resorts. Your externship will give you an exciting real-world taste of the food industry.
Courses in our on-campus public restaurants—We put you right in the middle of the action in our renowned restaurants and café, a capstone experience for both back-of-the-house and front-of-the-house learning.
Wine and Food Seminar (for bachelor's degree students)—Use this seminar to deepen your knowledge about a region rich in culinary culture such as California, Spain, or Italy.
Culinary Programs in New York and California—Culinary arts or baking & pastry arts...whatever your direction, The Culinary has the programs and majors at our Hyde Park, NY campus for you.
