You’ve watched them on screen and admired their careers from afar. But for the CIA students who were chosen to go to the April 25, 2018 CIA Leadership Awards event in New York City, it was a chance to go behind the scenes and talk to their idols—Anne Burrell, Julia Collin Davison, Amanda Freitag, Sara Moulton, and Geoffrey Zakarian —who were honored that night for their impact on the culinary world through their cooking shows, cookbooks, and restaurants. It’s just one of the many experiences our students have during their CIA education that exposes them to the best of the best. From our exceptional 150 faculty members to our 50,000+ alumni who are leading in every facet of the industry to the countless extraordinary guest chefs and titans of the food world who come to campus, CIA students have access to the very best out there. And the evening’s honorees—all of whom are CIA alumni—couldn’t agree more! To a person, the honorees expressed their absolute belief that a CIA degree made it possible for them to achieve so much success. Take a look!
