The Heartbeat of Student Life at CIA
Author Annie B. Milostan ’25 is a Baking and Pastry Arts major.
SPICE here at CIA is more than a club, it’s a student run organization here on campus. They host so many different events on campus from our monthly Karaoke Night to First Fridays where comedians, musicians, and magicians come to campus and perform. They also host smaller events on campus like Bingo, Stuff a Plush, Cider & Donuts, Bonfire Night, and so much more. They always make sure there is some fun for students on campus, and their events are always some of my favorites. I had the pleasure to chat with my friend and the president of SPICE, Ben, here’s what he had to say.

SPICE (Student Programming Igniting Campus Entertainment) is a student programming board made up of eight students from a variety of semesters, majors, and backgrounds. We come together with the common goal of creating fun and memorable events for the student body. I’ve been a part of the SPICE board for three semesters and have truly enjoyed every moment. As the current president, I’ve appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with the team and bring their incredible event ideas to life. We are currently planning some exciting events for the spring semester, and I look forward to seeing students participate next term.
